BA and PhD in Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, conducted further studies and research stays in Nullamore School, Dublin (1974); Olohnee College, California (1975); Windmoor House, Notre Dame University, Indiana (1977), University of Aix-Marseille (1984-1985).
Juan de la Cruz Ferrer is a regular speaker at Seminars and Conferences in the field of Economic Public Law within and outside Spain. He is guest professor by the Universities of Paris-Sceaux, Aix-Marseille, Portuguese Catholic, Interamericana de Puerto Rico, Tucuman, Argentina Chamber of Commerce, Foundation for the Study of Administrative Law and Catholic Institute of Advanced Management Studies of Venezuela, Chilean Andes. Is Coordinator of Erasmus Program in Public Law from several European universities.
Author and coordinator of several studies and books of Law and Economics. His books “Principles of Economic Regulation in the European Union” published by the Institute of Economic Studies, and “The Liberalization of Public Services and the Electricity Sector ‘, in Marcial Pons, are frequently cited in the academic community.
John’s Scholar of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation, Arbitrator of the Arbitration Court of Madrid and the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Bar Association, member of International Bar Association, American Economic Association, the Spanish Club Energy and Founding Member of the Spanish Association of Telecommunications Law and Information Technology.
